On July 23, a large group of YLS alumni, students, admittees, and their guests gathered at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. The evening began with remarks by four judges: Hon. Robert Katzmann ’80, Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit Hon. Nina Gershon ’65, Judge, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York Hon. Sidney H. Stein ’72, Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York Hon. James C. Francis IV ’78, Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York Each judge spoke on a different topic, which allowed for a wide-ranging question and answer session at the end of the judges' informal remarks. The panel discussion was followed by a lively reception.
