Jessica A. Sebeok ’04, Assistant General Counsel, Yale University, gave a talk, “Current Legal Issues Affecting Museum Collections, including Repatriation and Provenance Disputes” on Saturday, May 1 to our YLS and Yale Philly alums and their guests over lunch at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology. Describing the various competing arguments for and against repatriation, including both law and ethical considerations, were highlighted. Attendees greatly enjoyed the discussion.
