60 YLS alums and guests explored Geneva with Dean Post ’77 for 3 days. They met officials from the WHO, UNHCR (Alex Aleinikoff ’77), WTO, ICRC, Geneva Academy of Int’l Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, and Global Fund. US Ambassador Betty King and Melanie Khanna ’97, Legal Advisor to the U.S. Mission, also spoke to the group. And Ed Girardet ’91 MSL/J discussed Media21, which works to expand and improve media coverage of key global issues. The group toured CERN, the Palais des Nations, the Patek Philippe Museum, Old Town, and the magnificent Bodmer Foundation and Museum, arranged by Marc Andre Renold ’82 LL.M. and Andre Tombet ’54 LL.M. The group enjoyed delicious meals and Bruce Littman ’70 provided wine from his vineyard. Rory MacMillan ’94 LL.M. helped plan the trip. The gathering was a lovely chance for alums, ranging from ’47 to ’07 and from California to Helsinki, to meet.
