On February 16th, about 80 Yale Law School alumni and their guests had a spirited discussion about the fiscal plight facing cities and states. Richard Ravitch ’58, provided a clear picture of the current situation and suggested some steps to address it – both in his initial remarks and in response to numerous questions. Mr. Ravitch is the former Lieutenant Governor of New York, and former chair of the Commission on MTA Financing, the New York State Urban Development Corporation, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and the Corporation for Supportive Housing, among many other leadership roles.
Richard M. Zuckerman ’75, and the law firm of SNR Denton US LLP, wonderfully hosted the gathering, where alumni ranging from the class of ’49 to the class of ’09 were in attendance.
