On April 25, more than 30 Yale Law School alumni from Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and the Philadelphia area, their guests, and Yale University alumni gathered for a wonderful lunchtime event. The law firm of Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP in Philadelphia graciously hosted the gathering in their elegant Justice Roberts Room, with an amazing view of Philadelphia. David Grove ’62, gave a terrific introduction of John Witt ’99, the Allen H. Duffy Class of 1960 Professor of Law, at Yale Law School. Professor Witt “wowed” the audience with a fascinating talk titled “Lincoln’s Code: The Puzzling History of the Laws of War.” The multitude of questions demonstrated how much everyone enjoyed the discussion.
