June 21, 2011 – The YLSA of Southern California Roots the LA Sparks to Victoryhttp://ylr.law.yale.edu/photos/110621_socal_sparks/default.aspxOn June 21, 36 YLS alums and their families and friends, as well as a few Yale College alums, watched the WNBA’s LA Sparks defeat the NY Liberty 96-91, in a game that went down to the wire. Before the game, the group had a reception where Sparks Co-Owner Carla Christofferson ’92 stopped by to say hello. The 11 kids who were part of the group got to go onto the basketball court, pre-game, and have a basketball thrown to them, which later got autographed.
