Nancy Gertner ’71, newly retired federal district court judge, and her husband, John Reinstein, Legal Director of the ACLU of Massachusetts, hosted a lovely dinner of Turkish delights at their Brookline home on December 5. Some forty graduates and their guests were given a wonderful tour of the historic home, where JFK had lived for some years as a young child. Judge Gertner also spoke to the group, selecting fascinating portions of her recently published book, “In Defense of Women: Memoirs of an Unrepentant Advocate.” All attendees enjoyed seeing many of their YLS friends and meeting new ones.
