There were 200 alumni and guests who attended the theater event -- the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of Cole Porter's musical, "Anything Goes” on July 14. After the performance, there was a talkback with John Weidman ‘74, a celebrated Broadway playwright whose credits include "Pacific Overtures," and "Contact". He is co-author of the current production of "Anything Goes," having adapted and revised the original book with Timothy Crouse in 1987. And with Robert Kimball ‘67, who is a historian of the American musical theater. He is the artistic advisor to the Cole Porter Musical and Literary Property Trusts and the author of "Cole," the definitive Cole Porter biography, and "The Complete Lyrics of Cole Porter.
