On Thursday, June 4 over 70 YLS graduates and their guests attended the wonderful new musical "HAPPINESS," reuniting YLS book writer John Weidman '74 and director-choreographer Susan Stroman. The Weidman/Stroman musical collaboration "Contact" was the first Yale Law School theater event some nine years ago. Happiness presents the stories of nine New Yorkers as they find themselves stuck in morning rush hour in a stalled subway car and are required to recall the happiest moment in their everyday lives, celebrating those often fleeting moments. Following the performance in a lively talkback, Weidman, Stroman, and several of the actors responded to multiple questions from the Yale Law School attendees.
